Danielle
Perry is the Director of Marketing and Public Relations
for Holy Family Hospital where she leads the organization's internal and
external communications strategies. Her experience in strategic
planning, market research, branding, media relations, internal
communications and community relations has enabled Holy Family to
establish a comprehensive approach to marketing and public relations.
Ms. Perry has a strong background in healthcare marketing and public relations, having directed these efforts for two HCA-owned hospitals in Denver, Colorado. In this role, she led an award-winning reputation-building campaign for the Mother and Child Hospital (formerly named Hospital for Infants and Children). Ms. Perry also served as media spokesperson and advisor on a variety of crises and critical issues.
In addition, Ms. Perry has considerable experience in consumer marketing and public relations. She secured enviable media coverage and industry analyst commentary for numerous company initiatives at Monster.com. At AT&T Wireless, she spearheaded several significant PR campaigns including PR efforts for the sponsorship of FOX’s "American Idol" which helped launch text messaging in the US. She was also member of the PR team that orchestrated the announcement of the AT&T Wireless IPO.
Ms. Perry holds a bachelor's degree in international business from Lehigh University and a master's degree in communications from Rutgers University. In 2004, she returned to her alma mater as an adjunct professor to teach “Message Design” at Rutgers School of Communication, and guest lecture on media relations and crisis communications. She has also authored a book chapter for Inside the Minds: Marketing Leadership Strategies, an Aspatore Books – ThompsonReuters publication (2009).
An active member of the community, she is a member of the Methuen-Salem Rotary, the Mayor's Health Task Force, and the Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley Disease Management Coalition. She lives in North Andover, Mass. with her husband and three children.
