I am sincerely grateful to the entire Emergency Department staff.  We brought our son in with abdominal pain.  Everyone we encountered was welcoming, warm and responsive.  Each staff member identified himself and his role and performed efficiently and with compassion.  The triage nurse was able to look past standard processes to ensure my son received care quickly.  Realizing that following the usual process would delay his care, she simply switched the order of the process.  Her thoughtfulness speaks highly of the hospital's devotion to patient care.  The registrar was similarly flexible, and was friendly and welcoming while making sure that all required information was obtained.

The doctor was outstanding.  She spoke with our son and with us in a professional and caring manner, explaining everything she was doing and her assessments and recommendations at each stage of the situation.  The doctor was very thorough in her approach and instilled confidence in us all immediately.  We felt well-informed and well-attended throughout the night.  Our son, even before the situation was resolved, remarked that the doctor was so caring and so nice.

The nurses, the phlebotomist, the x-ray technicians were all helpful and kind.  Our thanks to all the staff we encountered.  We are grateful for the excellent care that you provided to us, and for the compassion with which the care was provided.  Our compliments also go to the hospital leadership who promote and reward these qualities.
